1) Wayne Rooney- Man U

Rooney has enjoyed becoming the featured player this season and the Englishman might just be heating up now that the second half of the season is underway.  Rooney was in a dead heat with most of the other Premier League stars, but his outstanding play in the last few weeks has put him five goals ahead of the rest of the pack.  Rooney has also seen his club enjoy surprising results this year and going into last weekend’s match the Red Devils were in first place.  Not too shabby for one of England’s best.  Read more...
